Fundamentals of International Management on Master Level (31 ECTS)

Corporate Project (5 ECTS)
Participants complete a practical project (in the form of a paid internship, real life consulting project, case study research, etc.) for a period of 6-8 months.
For European students it is recommended doing the corporate project in Asia; for Asian students in Switzerland.
Master Thesis (10 ECTS)
The MAS thesis is completed in a team format with 2 to 3 students per group. The research is supervised by a program lecturer.
The written part of the thesis will be graded and will count for 9 ECTS.
The thesis has to be presented in an oral defense session which will count for 1 ECTS with a pass/fail grade.
Additional courses
In addition to these modules, elective courses are provided.
Language courses will be offered to MAS students during the first semester. Attending a German language course is a requirement for Asian students; Asian language courses for European students.
Fundamentals of International Management on Master Level (31 ECTS)
The first and parts of the second semester are comprised 55 ECTS and are based on weekly courses of one to three days. All courses are taught at the UZH campus, either at the UZH main campus or other UZH campuses in Zurich

Practical Project/Internship (5 ECTS)
Participants will complete a 6-8 months corporate project (in the form of a paid internship or real-life consulting project) in an international company/organisation.
- Incl. 6-8 month working abroad paid internship (Swiss Work permit supported)
Students securing their 6-8 month internship in Switzerland will be supported with the 6-8 month Swiss Internship Work permit (Pflichtpraktikum). Other additional work engagements (such as part time work) will NOT be allowed in our program for students coming with a student visa.
For international students: between August and March students must undertake their courses and no part-time work is allowed. Full-time internship will be possible starting March.
